God’s Work?? Really?? I Don’t Think So.

I turned on my television this morning, as I do most mornings and scan the news. I read the news on my phone around 6 AM before I am out of bed, sometimes earlier, depending on how my sleep pattern worked out for me the night before. I am a terrible sleeper. That is a whole different subject for another day! But back to the news…..I assume most Americans do this, turn on a news source to educate and learn what the world is packaging in a big box to hand off to your children and grandchildren!! If you don’t care what’s going on, shame on you!

Ignorance is  NOT bliss! WE (the Republican party, which is the most conservative offering there was on the ticket in the 2012 Presidential Election, the party that still tries to have some parallel with conservatives and evangelical Christians) lost the election to President Obama because WE, the evangelicals DID NOT come to the polls. I must assume that WE don’t realize how important the issues are!!! Anyway, back to my subject: I flip on my favorite news source and I am appalled at a quote by Mr. Obama that was being played…I heard about this yesterday on the radio. The quote reads as follows:

“Reach out to your Republican friend who can’t stand Obama but is basically a nice person, but they watch the wrong newscast … We’re going to make a big push these last few weeks. But as I said – I can talk, my team can talk here in Washington, but it’s not going to make as much of a difference as if you are out there making the case. The work you’re doing is God’s work. It is hard work.”

Now, let me break this down! First of all I am talking to those of you that say that you are waiting for the Lord to return, and your hope is not in the government, but in the Bible. Those of you that dissent from political majority, and hold the super spiritual stance. LISTEN up!!

This administration has taken YOUR liberties. Yes yours. You. The evangelical Christian….the one that didn’t vote for Romney because he was a Mormon, that’s who I am talking to. Sometimes we must use common sense. And sometimes we must realize that government is our problem, not our solution. And sometimes we must understand that God gave us a brain and a Bible, and we are to use both accordingly. Some folks wonder why southerners and evangelicals get a bad rap in academic circles…it’s not because we lack the ability to represent our values intelligently, it’s because we lack the “spunk” to stand up in a world that “calls out” and attempts to embarrass and humiliate any and all voices that rub a politically correct world the wrong way. But friends, listen to me. We must pretend our life depends on it, because it DOES!! And one more thing, WE are majority. The media tries to make us believe that we are the family that no one wants to talk to at the family reunion…you know the hillbillies that pull up in a ratty station wagon…the ones that have lived in 12 house in 8 years….the family that never feels as “good” as their prospering cousins. But guess what??? That’s a lie straight from the devil’s play book. And yes, the media has a copy of the devil’s play book. They choose their lead stories from it every night. Didn’t you know that?? 🙂 WE have the power to turn this thing around. YES indeedy we do. If we ALL get off our self righteous, lazy, lethargic  butts….we can do anything. We are 250 million strong!! Yes, you heard me right!!!

So, back to the unbelievable message. Mr. Obama says that HIS agenda is God’s work in this quote. His agenda reaches from the imperialistic style of ruling “WE THE PEOPLE” to complete support for the millions of abortions performed every year. Government control is the agenda of this administration. Your phone is not private, your email is not private, your life is not private. If this were George Bush, the entire Democratic party would be screaming impeachment. If it is liberal and opposes God and the WORD of God, they are for it. And I may add that this president changed his mind on many issues after he was elected. Amazing how that works. If it is conservative he’s opposed. PERIOD!! Your children and grandchildren are born with a $40,000 debt. Yep, they are taking their first bottle and gearing up to pay the wasteful spending debt of a government out of control. And this is God’s work? Really?? Obamacare….we won’t go there. That’s another day. It’s also his attempt and success at taking over 1/6th of our nation’s economy. This is about power.

This president, the one that doesn’t allow the National Day Of Prayer to be held at OUR White House anymore? The people’s house?? George Bush and Ronald Reagan would have stood toe to toe with the devil and told him that without prayer, they were resigning. And without recognizing that the Bible and Christian-Judeo principals we have NO HOPE!! But not this president! He panders to any and all. He invokes “it’s God’s work” when trying to disparage Fox News and, he coddles the atheists when moving the National Day of Prayer OUT of the White House. We are being conned. That’s the bottom line. It’s amazing how many people are actually afraid to speak out. What? Is this America? Freedom of speech?? Wake up people.

Read this quote:

“It’s not his job to tell people to pray,” David Silverman, national spokesman for the organization American Atheists, told CNN.  “We are very happy he (Obama) did away with the George W. Bush-era celebrations and party, but we wish he wouldn’t do it at all.”  This is referring to Obama booting out the National Day Of Prayer.

To quote the president when he snuffed out the “Prayer” celebration, ” We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers.” Really Mr. President? The folks that wanted this gone were the atheists. That is 1%.So is that how we do it? 1% rules?

According to Pew Research about 3% of our population are other religions (Muslim, Hindu, etc.) and 1% identify as atheists  and 2% agnostic. 78%  of us sate in this poll that we are Christians, with 16% declaring no affiliation. That 16% are the folks that really didn’t want to talk to the person calling them!! LOLOL But I would be willing to bet you that they were the grouchy folks at church on Sunday. 🙂 But seriously, if we take JUST the 78 and go with it. We are the majority. The atheists are at 1%, but STILL this president kicks God out of the White House but tried to USE  a God quote to further his liberal agenda and get us to turn off FOX NEWS??

There have been a lot of “lows” in the past 5 plus years, but this may be an all time low!!

Summary. We are the majority. We must wake up. We are a sleeping giant. WE CAN CHANGE the outcome of this diminishing moral state. STOP with the political correctness people. This is our lives, our children’s lives, our grandchildren’s lives. Enough is enough. Man up, toughen up, learn to read and understand the issues. If the Holy Bible says it’s sin, you shouldn’t vote for people that create sinful laws. Period. Let’s be led by integrity and righteousness, not entitlements and finances. Have a Christian backbone. Be a Moses! Lead your family, your friends, your community, your town…out of this barren land of repression that we Christians seem to have accepted…as lambs led to the slaughter!  I pray Mr. Obama reads the following quotes and has a long come to Jesus! I doubt that’s going to happen, but I AM praying for that. But, my plan B is 2016…the congress and the house. Bible believing people in those seats. No one is perfect, but a principled candidate is certainly the choice over a Godless Bible hating candidate. Remember that common sense we need to exercise? Let’s do it!!

George Washington
1st U.S. President

“While we are zealously performing the duties of good citizens and soldiers, we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the higher duties of religion. To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian.”

Thomas Jefferson
3rd U.S. President, Drafter and Signer of the Declaration of Independence

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever; That a revolution of the wheel of fortune, a change of situation, is among possible events; that it may become probable by Supernatural influence! The Almighty has no attribute which can take side with us in that event.”

“I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ

The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity. – John Adams –

In regards to this great Book [the Bible], I have but to say it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man’s welfare, here and hereafter, are found portrayed in it.
– Abraham Lincoln

“The fundamental basis of this Nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul.” – Harry S. Truman –

“The fundamental basis of this Nation’s law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teachings which we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul.” – Harry S. Truman –

I believe that the next half century will determine if we will advance the cause of Christian civilization or revert to the horrors of brutal paganism.” – Theodore Roosevelt, President –

Deep religious beliefs stemming from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible inspired many of the early settlers of our country, providing them with the strength, character, convictions, and faith necessary to withstand great hardship and danger in this new and rugged land. These shared beliefs helped forge a sense of common purpose among the widely dispersed colonies — a sense of community which laid the foundation for the spirit of nationhood that was to develop in later decades. – Ronald Reagan –

Amen Kathy !!!!! Do they even know what WE THE PEOPLE means? Do they know GOD or do they know what a Bible looks like . They are managing to take our rights away from us & now in Arizona is trying to tell everybody how to believe. You can love somebody but you don’t have to like their ways. I tell you we need to pray hard for our so called government & for the ones who don’t believe or are trying to convince the rest of us that the Bible is not up to date. Duh people WAKE UP
